Yo Rein! Who's this "Steven Reinhart" person featured in the ending credits? He's listed as "English Translation & Localization and shows up in both the 1.0 credits and the updated credits from 1.18+. Something you'd like to share, hmmmm?

Reinheart Valentine is just my Character name and not my real name, not even close to it. So that Steven Reinhart is someone else who works for the great, awesome, Square-Enix.

This one, some asked what's going to happen at end of January after the 30 days from final server down date. When going by original forum rule, if you don't have subscription going you wouldn't be able to post on the forums so they are just checking if this will happen.

2012年9月30日の段階で課金していた方は、引き続きログインできるようですね。
スクエニアカウントでも契約終了日が2013/03/31の方は問題ないかと。

はい、レガシーキャンペーンの条件を満たしている方は応募サイトから応募していただく必要はありません。
フェイズ1開始時に自動的にβテストの権利を付与させていただきます。
ただし、βテストをPlayStation 3版でプレイしたい場合は、応募が必要になります。
Yes. If you qualified for the Legacy campaign requirements, you do not need to apply from the application site. You will automatically get Beta test privilege when Phase 1 starts. However, if you would like to play the Beta test on PlayStation 3 version, you will need to apply.

That is probably one of Fernehalwes, Eemeefu or Pinurabi if they were not using their forum aliases.

My educated guess:

Michael-Christopher Koji Fox = Fernehalwes
Steven Reinhart = Eemeefu
Kenneth Pinyopusarerk = Pinurabi

I will not object to being corrected by our fine Localizers.

I didn't proof read or do anything to it yet. Not even half finished, so don't bother looking at it if you want the whole thing. Only putting link for those wanting new info fast (which it's really nothing related to FF14 game, yet). LOL

Only thing I have to say to myself after reading that article is... why the hell am I working for the industry I'm working in right now... where did I mess up (getting negative mood again). LOL
Anyways I'll continue the translation most likely tomorrow during work hours again. Currently at home playing Xenoblade and fully into it thinking to myself, damn if they added this system to FFXIV would be so damn nice... for example the day/night BGM... and specific quests/events happening at certain hours in-game time.

Main reason it works better in Xenoblade because you can change the time to whatever you want, whenever you want. Most of it's features are really user friendly for a single player game.

Yep would be hard but FFXI did have some in there with similar system. Forgot the location... area before you enter Tu'lia (that was sky right?) the fountain which fills up only during full moon at night. But yeah it's much easier to work with in offline game where you can change the time freely, unlike MMO with live time
