Fast Cars > Shooting Stars > Legacy status
For giving them money for almost a year and playing their shitty game that was planned on being scrapped in the future I better get something for it that others don't.
Also, don't think that Legacy is something to be proud of or fortunate to have. It's basically the scarlet letter for loser masochists.

The lagacy was post in the forums the main page and i think even the client. You had 90days to get it i myself think it should have been if you pay sense the first day of payment to the last day you got it but you know w/e they made it way to simple for anyone to get it.
You did not get it then you should not have it for not checking on the forums and the information giving it's your own problem not trying to be a asshole it's just people who bitching about it is getting out of hand.
Also it seem that people goign to post more about this seeing how the forums in alpha are now close -.-

Cut off date wasnt properly posted to the main source of information (the dedicated tab on the lodestone). The requirements for Legacy Status were published well in advance. People were given ample time to comply with those requirements. Cut off date for compliance was also posted well in advance. I know this may sound cold but with all that I have no sympathy for those who decided not to qualify at the time. It was their choice. They must live with it.
Though legacy itself (posted on the lodestone) has been up for a while. For those who knew and didnt want to partake I have no feelings. But for those who found out through the main page and then SE cuts off october before updating the main page to tell those about it, it is kind of slighted action. But those affected by that particular case are probably like 5 people.. At least thats how many appeared on the forums around the time SE did that.

It was factually not. The tab was only updated once it was too late for those who read the tab and joined because of it.
There were updates on the lodestone but they scrolled down the list in history - never was this information appended to the main tab which never moved until it was - too - late.
So.. no people didnt lack english/reading comprehension skills.
Yeah, that's why there were 329324 threads by people asking if they were too late to get legacy... or arguing about what "cumulative" meant, right? I don't think so.
People genuinely interested in legacy followed the campaign on the lodestone, and all the info was also supplied in the promotional mail sent to attract more people. If those people were really interested, they'd get legacy as well.
All the history posts were linked at the bottom of the legacy campaign page, so all they had to do was to click on a link and read. If they didn't, it's their own fault.

Did you guys know that I have legacy? It was a total fluke how i got it to, I like FFXIV so one day I logged on to the lodestone I saw a thing that told me how to get legacy, I read it and it said in order to get it I had to do certain things and further down it said what those things where. I did those things, and SE gave me legacy!!!! totally weird right? I mean they said if I do this, than they would give me this. I did it and they gave it to me o.0 hmmmmmm *thinks* I wonder if this applies to other things in life, like if ppl say if I do something this will be the result and it actually happens? But than again i could be wrong, just a thought i had XD
