Lol thats where dot.hack diverges from reality, cc corp never once got sued for the two incidents by the looks of it... SAO seemed reasonable since the creator of the game was also in it and was crazy so he wouldn't care about lawsuits...

well is probably because .hack was due to virus, not the developer it self. CC Corp knew nothing at first about it. It make sense, since is actually a virus doing it instead of the developer, SAO solely is developer doing all the bad deeds

.hack//sign is indeed too emo, and that guy is actually a girl playing a guy avatar, but seems to lost memories or something, the other two story .hack// game series, Kite is a guy, and then .hack//G.U series Haseo, a guy too, both are not that Emo, well Haseo may be, but he opens up in the end.

I didnt watch //sign when i first played the game on my PS2, i like the game arc better.

I would like to watch SAO but for my own personal reasons I only watch dubbed anime and half the ones i wanna see are not dubbed or no date in sight for dubbing.

Now begin with the pitchforks and torches, my body is ready!

Guy was not really crazy his idea for why he did it was differnt if you watch all 25 eps the other guy in arc 2 of the anime that guy is beyond crazy.

SAO was awesome but i enjoy the SAO art more then the ALO for storyline. I did enjoy ALO how the char look and the battle system but SAO was just more rich was more danger with it then ALO.

A anime that base on a MMO would have a big impact in real MMO of our time and in japan i think most players would play FFXIV or something close to SAO. Really hoping the anime get other season.

I like the ending of ALO thou, making it possible to connect your single avatar character in many MMO because all the MMO is base on the same back bone of SAO.

Honestly though, the two main reasons I suggest people watch subbed over dubbed. One, it's pretty easy to get used to reading the subs quickly. Second, MOST, not all, just most, anime i've seen dubbed, the voice acting was garbage. You just don't get the same experience.

Course, learning Japanese would be the best way. Still working on that one myself.

This. 1000 Times this. Most western localization companies replace Japanese star actors carrying a truckton of experience with badly directed newbies and very mediocre, badly fitting voices in order to keep costs down.

It's dreadful.
