    Back then I was saving all of those special rewards and finally used it all to finance my last seal required for starting A Relic Reborn quest.

    Let's just hope all of those efforts are still accountable in ARR.

    I love the people who suggest running everywhere.. unlike people who live at home with no jobs or obligations I work for a living.. however I would still like to enjoy the game.. therefore not having quick transportation effects me directly so yes.. a way to recharge anima would be ideal..

    Same system already has been put in for FFXI. Let's see how it works for that game.
    Really has been no problems with it so far and its more costly then FF14 crystals.
    2k in ffxi would give players 6 warps. That be like 300 shards.

    I 2nd that actually. Been almost 2 months since starting FF11 and already there's lots of options for fast travels:
    - Airship
    - Chocobo
    - The job specific warp spells like whm, summoner, etc.
    - Outpost warp if done supply mission there which already covers lots of grounds for me
    - Abyssea warp, almost abolish the need of airship
    - The newest December 2012 patch which introduces proto ports which I suspect real-closely related to upcoming expansion: Seekers of Aldoulin. These proto ports not only enable players to warp to non-nation towns like Selbina-Mhaura-etc, but also to dungeons (although alot of this are not easy to unlock but will be great help).

    Even now I feel that ease-transportation in FF11 starting to beat old FF14 anima port in a sense. lol

    Would be heavily aganist this.

    More p2w ideas (pay to win). If there is an issue with the transportation system it needs to be fixed from the inside.

    I do think anima and hamlet together / atomos made the world in 1.0 tiny. There is also the inverse problem when those anima refreshing things didn't exists. They needed some teleport 'spells' and more natural transportation then (I'm saying you cant just yank this system out, but I do wish it would be changed somehow / replaced - and paying to play better is not an acceptable change imo).

    Since Anima being abolished in ARR, this discussion is rather moot.

    Apparently, free teleportation will be the rule of the day.

    But this also means that you will have to reach all destinations on foot before you can teleport there -- which is good.

    Defintely a GW2 thing XD

    Not sure how I feel about the free world teleporting. But, the anima expenditure was silly (swimming in it (hamlet) or always disappointed) so I guess I'm happy that's gone.

    Waiting impatiently for beta..

    i bet they end up with you paying gil to teleport lol it make little more sense. Anyways i don't know how i feel about no anima to teleport i guess there just not caring about the old storyline.

    The point of anima was that the teleport crystal have a limit how many time your body can be broken down and send to other crystal your soul could not be broken down so it just follow the steam. Once you reach the crystal your body is put back together and your soul enter it.

    So your body don't get over damage the npc don't allow people to teleport more then they should i guess 5years later that does not matter anymore lol. I bet a lot of people don't even know that why we had anima to start with seeing how SE did such a bad job at adding side storyline to this game lol.

    It will definitely end up using gil to teleport, why makes things overly complicated with different currencies? It doesnt serves any purpose and would require another explanation yada yada.
