Unless your starting your character from scratch you wont be looking for anywhere because you wil be on Excalibur for some time until they allow server transfers.

When you remake your char at the start of 2.0 it's allowing you to switch to a new world only onces. Yoshi-p said that they wont release a way to switch for a very long time maybe 5+months from release. So i'm pretty sure you can pick any world you want beside the once that only allow starting players only way to enter that one would be making a new char for it.
