As I said before, If you say so. Sorry if anything upseted anyone. God blessWow where have I seen this before?
So, you don't believe you make personal attacks...
Well not only have you done that in almost every post, you are also endorsing one in your sig. You talk of what is offensive or not and should respect how others feel....and....you do this stuff. Hypocrisy is the keyword here today.
Sigh, I bet reps are seeing people like us bicker and say "No beta for you...and no beta for you...and no beta for...you.."![]()

Beta can achieve the same thing, a lot of people join open beta's to see if they will buy a game.
You can say that all you want but a ton of people were screaming it's OK all the bugs will be fixed at launch so that does not fly. People also thought that magical update on Nov w/e in 2010 was gonna fix the lag too but it did not. That's as false as it can be. This very forum is evidence enough that the customer base at large has been none the gentle with 1.0's flaws. Posts of criticism are a very large percentage of the total.
The fault on the disastrous conditions of FFXIV 1.0's launch lays entirely with SE, please, don't try to shift the blame on the userbase, because it's pretty ridiculous.
If you think the testers of 1.0 didn't tell SE that they were going a disastrous route since way before launch, you've never read the beta forums. The feedback was given. Plenty of it, as a matter of fact. It was simply ignored.
Also i never once said it was the player base fault for 1.0 turning it out the way it did.

Open betas are very different from alphas and betas.
You'll find those "Ton of people" between the actives, the inactives, or those that never played the game once. Fact is that the negative feedback has always been there, very present, between the active playerbase, so inviting the inactives is completely unnecessary. You can say that all you want but a ton of people were screaming it's OK all the bugs will be fixed at launch so that does not fly. One difference is that not everyone can join a closed alpha/beta, an open beta is for everyone.Open betas are very different from alphas and betas.

Says who? You? Most of the current FF XIV fan base would be happy with any upgrade and would not complain. There are a ton of people who thought 1.0 was fine at the start - the lag and a lot of people who thinks 1.0 @ the end is fine as well so yes i think they are needed. We need unbiased opinions from an outside source. If you really thought SE was not gonna invite not one single outside source tot he alpha you are wrong again it's just not inactive players but people from gaming sites etc who will get into alpha as well.Open betas are very different from alphas and betas.

1: I never accused anyone that simply disagreed with me to be attacking me.
2: You never tried having an intelligent debate. As a matter of fact, you were attacking people calling them "butthurt", "crybabies" and other not so flattering epithets way before I even started posting about this topic.
3: I never personally attacked anyone, nor got "angry", so your describing me as "quick to anger, quicker to go on the attack" is, as usual, a falsehood born out of desperation.
3a: The sole fact that you continue to try to misrepresent my characters and feelings that quite obviously you can't know, as you don't know me and you can't read my mind, is a quite clear demonstration of your continuous attacks.
4: others managed very easily to have an intelligent debate with me on this very topic in this and in every other threads. You didn't. That should tell you (and those even slightly inclined to believe the libel and falsehoods you're trying to spread) quite a few things.
This attempt of yours to shift the blame for your self-admitted trolling on me is rather funny, considering that all the threads are still there for everyone to see.

Says the comments you can read every day on the forums, and that you could read since the launch or even before during alpha/beta.
I didn't set that expectation. Square Enix did.If you really thought SE was not gonna invite not one single outside source tot he alpha you are wrong again it's just not inactive players but people from gaming sites etc who will get into alpha as well.
PS: No, people from gaming sites aren't being invited into the alpha. I would know. Square Enix sends press invites late into betas.
Hello,
Unfortunately I will be closing this thread. A great deal of flaming, trolling, breaches of NDA, and generally unacceptable behavior has been noted and taken care of here, and as the original topic seems to be all but forgotten, the thread is no longer needed.
Please be advised that threads discussing Alpha invites can be a violation of forum guidelines, and any posts with information about the Alpha not released by SE, including those simply stating that the poster has been invited, are breaches of the NDA.
We appreciate your enthusiasm and wish you all luck in getting invites, but hope you will be patient for the Beta or actual release of the game if you do not, as we cannot give them to everyone.
May the odds be ever in your favor~♪
