Forum outrage! An explaination?

I don't know what it is about this thread.. but something about it and the comments contained within strike me as, hmm.. I don't know.. it just seems like there is a major holier-than-thou kind of mentality going on right now, and yes.. I know that's not really the mindset that anyone here has.. or so I hope..

Outside of Alpha invites I haven't honestly seen or read a thread that struck me as someone just complaining for the sake of complaining, granted I have also never read or heard about this grass thread..

This rationalization of why people are complaining needs to stop honestly though. It all just strikes me as rather tacky.. like an excuse is being invented for why there is so much criticism on these forums.. criticism that to some is just plain old stupid. But guess what.. you aren't the only one with an opinion.. or the only person who wants this game to be great in their own way. A thread about jumping or something of that matter, about something trivial to you, doesn't make it less than any other post. I'm sorry to bare that news but it just doesn't...

There is absolutely no harm in anyone voicing there opinion about anything as long as there is some kind of reasoning behind it.. as long as it's constructive.

Everyone just wants the game to be great.. take a post for what it is. A person voicing their opinion on what they think is great or not so great with the game. Stop trying to lump them into some percentage or call them nostalgic because, to me, that's just a way of trying to devalue a post.

At least a thread about grass, as silly as even I might think it is, pertains to the game and adds some kind of value. This thread just serves to deconstruct posts and the people who make them.
