Xenogears + Chrono Trigger + FFVI + Vagrant Story.

Those 4 games man, those were the times...

FFXIV always gave me the same kind of feeling, since it was first announced, but since Yoshi P took the leadership is looking even more FF than ever. I will miss some of the features Tanaka promised us, but I'm sure if some were discarded, they were with good judgement and reasons by Yoshi and the team.

I'm trusting them and I'm sure ARR will be an awesome experience.

i still believe the merger with Enix was the worst thing that ever happened, i cant somehow shake this feeling that Square Games are getting the crappy end of everything development wise.

Dragon Quest popularity is up FF popularity has plummeted to all time lows and this all happened a year or two after the merger coincidence, i think not.

Dragon Quest stays with its original formula FF tries to mix it up. But really the issue is the choices being made in developement of RPG's is completely out of touch with its fan base. I want a long winded story which touches you emotionally, plot twists, epic battles. A story that allows for exploration and filled with content. Mini-games that engage you in the story. (FF8 Train decoupling) Characters that develope throughout the story. There are so many low budget RPG's showing up that just dont seem to have anything to like about them, all math and no soul.... The Tales of series seems to be the only consistant RPG series i can rely on nowadays. /endrant

I'm looking forward to the new FFXIV ^^ been waiting patiently to give my feedback and ideas.
