Though the quake's epicenter was a few hundred kilometers north of Tokyo, we still got quite a lot of shaking and swaying here in our new building (It probably doesn't help that we are on the 18th floor). Luckily, nothing was damaged and no one in the building was injured.

Thank you everyone for your concern, and let's all pray that the people near the epicenter are alright.

What was the magnitude on the Richter (sp?) scale? I have not seen it online yet.

Eathquakes are the stupidest most pointless things. Whoever thought those up is sick and perverse.

Delsus stole what I first thought.. XD.. but on a serious note - the plates are required to move so they can build mountains which are extremely useful. Unfortunately there are side effects
