This would have been nice to have 1:1 updates since global invites started a two weeks ago. It seems it wasn't until Reinheart posted in the JP forum that the NA public relations was sorely falling behind the JP news that anything had changed.
So it's nice to now know that we'll be updated at the same time, you guys totally dropped the ball, please don;t leave us out in the cold in the future.

I agree if we didn't have Rein we wouldn't get the information for what feels like a week after the JP side ..Are we not as important? Doesn't it make you feel like your not doing your job when Rein has posted the information before you? SE should hire Rein then your statement would be accurate...Oh the whole bit about hours is bs.. You can send the information from any place you just need access to a comp/laptop and internet connection. Rein can go through a whole day at work then post it way before you guys get around to it.

I would actually be down with that if, and only if, everytime you tried to mount it the computer randomly made a dice roll to determine if it lets you, or tries to kill you and your entire party. How awesome would the space made by party members asking you to give them a minute to ride away each time before you called it be lol?

my biggest complaint about translations, and PR in general is that a large portion is predetermined. Especailly twitter posts. It's not spur of the momment.
Just an example On Dec 5ths invites the JP twitter was updated at 2am, it wasn't until 12 hours later that the NA version was updated. These things should both be ready to go at the same time.

I mean all they need to do is make a text file with the english version ready to go and copy/paste it over....

I don't believe it is that. It is understandable where reps/translators come from here, however when it comes to crucial information like alpha invites, it is crucial that everyone is notified at the same time.

Should be! There's been no announcement that they've been sent out yet, so 6th western date / 7th Japanese date still works! (...though I won't be staying up late if I can help it, totally pumpkin'd last night x_x)

I am going to be picking on you, so apologies in advance. I am actually responding to everyone here with similar posts to yours.

Please note here that Bayohne used the word will. That means that he isn't claiming that they have been, but that they will be in the future.

Also, please note that Bayohne is a human being, and as a human being can only manage so many people calling him, his friends/company/coworkes, and his project a failure.

I implore you - I implore all of you - to have some compassion - and also to understand that Bayohne did not mean to claim that the updates have been on time - only that they intend them to be in the future.

Also, we can exercise patience. If we rush them, this will result in them feeling unduly pressured, and as a result things will not go as smoothly (this being but one factor, of course). We are actually helping that vicious cycle of delays and rushed products to continue, not preventing it with our meanie faces.
