I commended SE about a week ago for being so transparent about the alpha, yet there hasn't been an update today on the english twitter account, nor did they let us know last time invites were sent out.

It makes me wonder. Are only Japanese people getting invites at this point?

No, why would the JP only get invites? They had almost 3 phases of localized stress testing. SE is still a Japanese company above all so of course the main twitter account (Japan) would be updated and we already have proof people outside of JP got invites on the 3rd.

Yea plenty of my friend got invites today, felt happy for them, they were excited to play lv20cap and gridania only client lol. No hard feeling on me not getting an invite, beta will be better when i can test out more endgame raids.

The invites are supposedly going out world-wide.
It's just the community team that doesn't translate the JP Twitter response at all.

I don't think it's wise to degrade @FF_XIV_EN, @FF_XIV_DE and @FF_XIV_FR followers to 2nd class citizens, but that's what it is.
