I have to say I'm disappointed with SE in the way of selection for Alpha by inviting inactive current players over active current players. When players who played through thick & thin of 1.0 problems and paid to continue to play the game till offline event. We don't get to see & play the game , found your bugs report them, etc. It just seems your loyal players are being singled out more than those who continue to say XIV is crap still or XIV is a WoW clone now. Our NA/EU Community team is slacking & lacking on delivering info on progression of ARR. That's my bag gil being dropped on there heads.

I'm confused about this as well. If the goal is to stress test the servers, wouldn't it be better to invite players who are more likely to log on a lot? I'm not fussed either way, but I do find it a bit peculiar.

It's an interview pretty much. Did you select the right choices, do you have the machines they're looking for, etc. etc.

Well of course you can't control actually getting the invite, however I bet they do exclude apps based on answers given in questions.

still find it funny though that they can just not make any posts on the NA side about this stuff going out...I guess they figured since we have rein they dont have to work, hell do it for them.

No they figured if they leave the slightest hope that invites might not have been sent or haven't finished being sent, since they didn't post notification, they can avoid the shit-storm of last week on the English boards.

This one is not as bad as the job interview's feeling I had. That one got me all sad for almost every day for 2 month straight, thinking "What if I said...." or "I should of said this...." orz still comes back time to time but not as bad now... lol
