Sometimes no egg?

I am having this very same issue no matter what I do I cant get an egg. I have 40 slots. I have room in my journal. I do not currently have the quest. I am from Uldah and trying to pick up the quest in Uldah. So has anyone figured out what is wrong and why some of us cant get the quest? :[

We have confirmed the existence of an issue causing players to receive a message indicating that they are unable to participate in any special events, and subsequently being unable to join in any events. We are aware of the situation and are currently working to resolve it.

Players affected by this issue will be able to participate in events after regenerating anima. Therefore, if you find yourself affected by this issue, we would like to ask that you please wait and try again at a later time.

*Time remaining until anima regeneration can be viewed using he "/clock" text command.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Are the eggs tradeable? If so I'd keep working on your alt until you can flag it on your main, then have a friend trade you the eggs you got on your alt to your main.

You just need to wait for anima to regenerate. I'm gonna test it now XD

That's what I'm assuming, I haven't got one yet but it sure seems stupid for them not to unless there's another way to get eggs I'm not aware of.

You just need to wait for anima to regenerate. I'm gonna test it now XD

so basicly just spend your anime and wait until it regen and it should work ?
