If by my own version you mean the version that's the most true with the general playerbases who alpha/beta test MMOs..you are correct!

No one is tripping over each other to test and submit detailed reports, they're doing it because they want to play lol.

A very large swath of this community wants the opportunity to get their opinions heard early in the development cycle to prevent game breaking features they do not want to see and to ensure that we don't get another 1.0.

Your statement may apply to the whiners screaming about how they deserve alpha, but they are the minority.
