No. I don't think it is. Simply because if there's someone that knows exactly when the final save was warranted, that's not me, that's not you, but it's SE.

No I'll bet the Japanese video game developers are aware of their financial situation and how to plan to release their game.I only have a couple lv50's and I'm not a huge poster on the forums but does anyone else think the dev team should have held off on the final save to keep more people playing the game? I know it was stated it would take a month or two to transfer data over to the new servers but it seems like the game is gonna be down for more than a month or two. Im not saying they needed to add new content to v1.0 but maybe they should have held off until they had a release date or when loyal players would be able to play beta. I know it would take some dev's away from working on v2.0 but would'nt it be better to have people playing and paying vs not?

We would have had to be without the game for over a month anyway. They had to stop saving character data at SOME point, to focus all their efforts on ARR. Delaying a final save would have just delayed going full force into ARR. So the sooner, the better.

WAY too early to take down 1.0

Why you asking a question that you clearly know the answer?
1.0 has served us, let it rest in peace
