Multiple people telling that they received an invitation despite having an inactive account is enough to say that it happened to those people. No one is saying that ALL or a MAJORITY of the people with inactive accounts received an invitation. All we're saying is that it happened, no one is saying to how many.

You can prove that something happened to individuals or limited groups, but you can't prove a statistic without comprehensive and a large statistical pool.
