Balmung, beleive it or not, at least that's where the Hydaelyn Role-Players site chose to congrigate. They'll likely have to re-select after ARR though, given localized servers and all.

I always wanted to try roleplaying in the game but it never seemed like a very popular thing and I hadn't found a group that wanted to. Cool to know that there are groups that do this. I'll have to look more deeply into finding one once ARR launches.

Am I the only person who thinks adding more races is a bad idea?

I'd rather more diverse racial specific animations than having everyone hold weapons the same way and preforms WS's with the exact same animations. At least in XI each race had it's own flair and special touches added in, each race did things a bit differently.

it is a terrible idea, just like the thousand mounts. every one wants to ride the mount that sucks your soul out through its eyeball just because...before long there wont be a enemy in Eorzea you cant mount and ride across the sands of thanalan and they'll all be bland and generic. but at least you can ride a different mob each day and mix it up at the end of the month, that way it will never get old.
