That BLM Elezen has blue eyes meaning the male /thread where is your god now? lol
That seems too flat chested to be the female ....so i'll stick with it been the male.
But bottom line they are the same guys the Hyur dude has the same scars on his face as original intro![]()

Even after looking at more BLM af pics on all all female races seem to be flat in the af.

Looking at it myself, the BLM's facial features look too masculine for it to be the female, imo.
yoshi will probably throw us a curveball and tell us something like the two elezen from the opening cinematic got married and retired, and this is an entirely new addition to the adventuring company
Hey gang,
You guys will definitely want to check out the enormous post from Fern on the Localization team about this very topic!
Just... prepare to have your minds blown!

LOL Elezen males do look feminine sometimes so I see the confusion.
Definitely male... I'd know that Elezen male stance anywhere; cuz my character is actually modelled directly after the Elezen male in the original 1.0 opening CGI.
I too was seriously wondering where the Elezen female was... I actually love this party and the lore regarding them won't be the same without her (if I remember, weren't both she and our Warrior hero the "face" for FFXIV when it first launched?)
Reckon she decided that our excellent little Lalafell WHM was very adequate enough on heals, (she too could heal in the original trailer)... so she heads out to become one of the following options:
- Hikes to the wilderness of destroyed Ala Migho to train in becoming a Monk
- Travels to Limsa and becomes a dual welding Musketeer
- Wanders off to Sharlayan to become a Samurai or Ninja (she was VERY agile in the trailer)
- Hot foots it to Ishgard to train with the knights to become Dragoon
I like the last option best...kinda fits very well with the DRG AF storyline plus it will best explain why she was not at the final battle. We can definitely assume that the Holy See charged her with commanding the knights in protecting Ishgard
If not that, then the third option... will be a great way to integrate Samurai job class into the party's lore. Love this thread btw... awesome read. Be well.
