So..are you guys playing other MMOs besides XI till 2.0 launches?

I actually dived back in FFXI to check out whats going on. I'm also playing Dust 514 beta, and Ragnarok Odyssey. Downloading SWTOR right now since its free to play lol

I prefer a pay to play everyone's even model.... Free to stay logged in (alot of games are like this) make me not even want to play, SWTOR you can actually get to level 50 (although in meh gear) but as for pvp and pve at 50 you basically will have to pay because you get almost no allotted time to do them without paying..


But yah so what I was saying is I prefer pay to play, because in FTP with cash shops, I go overboard and spend a ton of money... Like league of legends they've gotten like 150-200 dollars of mine just from my obsession with buying skins and new champs ; ; I remember a FTP game called Dream of Mirror online, omg I spent 150 dollars on some pet chest event... Buy a 5 dollar chest open it for a chance at a Kuku egg... I've probably spent nearly 250 dollars on that game before I stopped playing it.... All for costumes and pets ; ; (they sold in game for a lot of gold...)

Thats nice and all, but I'll play it for the story.

edit: it seems they done a better job than the folks from star trek online, in story.

Been playing pso2 since beta up to now, still my top "mmo" atm, and I guess slowly reaching 80 on guild wars 2..very, very slowly, then there's borderlands 2 I need to finish.

It's not out in NA right? is it hard playing the JP version?

I'm strongly considering starting a new file for FFT (War of the Lions on PSP) and getting 100% completion on it.
That game was incredible when it was first released.

I remember it was still quite enjoyable when I played through it a couple of years ago.

After you finish, try 'Tactics Ogre:Let us Cling Together'

It's a very similar game headed up by the same creative leadership that made FFT and FFXII

Its not FF, but I think you'll still like it.

Nah won't be out for NA till some time in 2013 and that's all they've said, they don't even have a date. But very easy to play on jp servers, just slap on the english patch and the only thing not translated is the story and items. But there are specific sites up made for that so it's not really a problem.

Also buying the cashshop type items isn't as easy since they no longer accept non-JP cards unless you already were paying them. (Cut off in October.)

I had some hilarious stamina and shield when I got to him - most annoying part was trying to cut off his damn tail lol.

All my weapons where too short or too big and slow >.>. Fought him for like 15 minutes just because I wanted his tail

Going to start playing AS3 today (released on PC's - last I checked.. Ubisoft likes delaying PCs..)
