People wanted to have some low level fun NM, SE delivered.
Its cool, its fun to have some new mobs, what is the big deal.
It's not like SE announced endgame NM with ultra rare gear.
I am sure they will add some later. The game is still in development, Level cap is just 50.

Well I have no problem with the NMs but to me personally the allure to the Notorious Monsters in FFXI was the fact that they were so difficult to find, claim and kill and then get the drop - I must have killed Jaggedy-eared Jack about a 100 times without a drop, so I absolutely hated that aspect of it but I loved randomly running around a region and OOHHHH MAAA GOOOODDD Leaping Lizzy!! and your heart races a little (until you kill it and don't get the drop ). So anyway, I think that completely goes out the window with small repop timers...if they're commonplace, they're no fun, they're simply just another mob.

For the record ... get your facts right before you try to teach someone a lesson. Fafnir was NOT in the game at launch. You know that the game was launched in Japan before it was launched in North America right?

O.o i got two chars rank 40 and ended up del them. Why do i want to level up when am waiting for battle and new class system. btw this is not even my char in the sig anymore i have a new one. it seem the sig thing is mess up in the profile and can't change it

Even if i want to level up right now i just get 50 in no time and get bored again.

did it ever occure to do yoshida is a "casual" players... he plays ffxiv not cuz he is a producer but as a player. remember yoshida is a big mmo players and obviously a casual player.
