It's not so much anti-rmt as opposed to anti-freeloading, game devs letting people log in multiple characters from the same account in a subscription based MMO is literally shooting their own bottom line with a very large gun![]()



Which is why they should make it IP bound. So while we're in the exact same house, probably the exact same room, we can use our own account twice for easier muling and legal multi-boxing. That way you can do that but not share you account with your neighbor or your friend.


from the dev's perspective it's too much work and too easily exploitable, and again does nothing but take shots at their margin. Why allow people to log in multiple characters from the same account when they can pay for another account to multibox?Which is why they should make it IP bound.
