I'm an avid believer in this because I tend to do it myself. It's not a super accurate assumption to make but I never found it to be too far off. Word gets around quickly about the good and the bad of MMO communities.Sadly, this is irrelevant. The forum community is the most Visible display of the players of the game. While most people will never actual read this page, any Serious gamer who looks in to games before he tries them will have his first experience be the opinions seen here. A lot of people who refuse the even try an MMO typically do so because of what they hear about the people who play.

It's not too bad out there, you have to take some of these people with a grain of salt, and a slice of lime and about 4-5 shots of tequila.

Sounds like you don't know anything about "serious gamers", bro.Sadly, this is irrelevant. The forum community is the most Visible display of the players of the game.
