Answers was originally written in Japanese, but was meant to be sung in English. they translate in-house and then send off the lyrics

Michael-Christopher Koji Fox is the one who wrote the English translation lyrics for Answers. So if Soken makes a new composition, he wouldn't have to worry about language (he did this with Good King Moggle Mog and White Raven music most recently)

Well... given that "Answers" has finally serve it's purpose, I would love if there's a new theme for ARR. Don't think the old one fits anymore, else if there's 8th Dalamud catastrophe.

Well... given that "Answers" has finally serve it's purpose, I would love if there's a new theme for ARR. Don't think the old one fits anymore, else if there's 8th Dalamud catastrophe.

I'd be okay with them giving it a rest, but not phasing it out altogether. It's not a Dalamud specific song anyway.

I'll be happy if Answers stays as a theme, but welcome any new recordings to be utilized for story purposes.

Wel... it isn't. But after seeing the scene of the end of era and how this song played, I felt like... Wow! This song is finally over. It's really weird if I heard the same theme in ARR. ;D

Taking example of FFX, you don't hear any lingering trace of "Suteki da ne" on FFX-2, don't you? Instead we get new themes that represents energy (real Emotion) & hope (1000 words) which fit the new chapter after FFX, while the old one just about sadness which also fit with the original ending.
