I personally love the look of my toon with coliseum gear and PLD AF boots/gloves/crown. Screams tough and sexy! Of course I'm a guy IRL so eye candy armor is grrrrreat! Wish I'd been playing during the summer event enough to get a swimsuit Only other problem is I'm gonna have to find the Coliseum subligar and galerus(?) again cause I didn't have them during the save. Someone was nice enough to give them to me since I wasn't a permanent trade lol ....I guess I'll be looking for someone to do Operation:Crosseye first day ARR goes live cause I ain't got millions of gil to buy them.

As for the answered question on breast physics; I was surprised not that they chose it to ask, but that they answered it with a (I assume humorous) onomatopoeia... BUT I also know they use a LOT of onomatopoeias in Japanese culture, so for westerners I can understand how saying 'boing boing' could be taken the wrong way.

I like your post and appreciate what you took the time to write.

Just to add a comment about this, I am not 100% sure since my Japanese is fairly poor but Yoshida's answer for this was different than the official English translation. English translations tend to cut a lot of things out or change what the intended answer was.

I believe Yoshida's actual answer was along the lines of "for those of you who are experts in this sort of animation we rigged the characters breasts with nodes so they would bounce, and we're currently testing them with our alpha testers."

He didn't do any "boing boing" joke.

Interesting read and I can see a number of your points, but I worry if this may be taken too far in the discussion. Granted I only went to Pg.3 before I chose to respond this whole discussion can go bad, very fast if it hasn't already. Anyway what I really wanted to say is I actually agree on the strangeness of their choice in questions to answer. Breast physics is (And I am a guy mind you.) really the last thing I thought they'd bother about adding to a game. I guess it adds to the realism a little depending on how they implement it (Please no "Baywatch" moments?) but not something I'd have expected, or thought they'd really bother on commenting on.

Breast physics? Hmm, yeah, okay, sounds cool... But I'd rather have more important information that confirmation we can shake those tops like a bowl of jello.
