I did a bunch of recordings of the game before it went down in preparation for this. I also have a wealth of screenshots taken from day 1 to the end that I go through. How different the sky and the general game used to look, along with the way players used to be dressed, really hit me. Sorta cathartic, actually.

But yeah, you always miss what you can no longer have, even if it was pretty terrible. I miss 1.0 a little, but it had genuinely stopped being fun by the end.

i dont miss it 1.0 it was fun but overly tedious in some things.ARR look like SE put in some work just seeing the blackshroud.

hard to find anything else that different from the norm. GW2 i just PVP just looking for another game i can play damn near impossible even with 100+ mmo's out there.

I miss it already, but having come back to FFXI, and replaying Chrono Trigger make up more or less well.

Also I'm planning on replaying every FF from 1-13-2 before ARR launches, no 100% runs through. I was waiting for the HD reedition of FFX, because I want to kill Peneace again, but I don't know if that is even still going on.
