I didn't even play the game that much but now that it's gone I feel like playing it. It wont be the same even when they bring the servers back online, I wont be able to make progress. Sure the game was frustrating at times but it was exciting to be part of something that was constantly evolving and I had some great moments.

It looks like we are still months away from the release of ARR and I can't help but feel like maybe they took 1.0 away from us to soon. It was already frustrating waiting for it but now it is even more so as we have no game to play anymore. Getting into the beta would relieve some of the frustration but even that is months away.

I'm sure it will all be worth it but man I wish I could still play...

Me too blah I did play but I wish they could of just let all xiv ending characters play arr alpha till the game comes back up, if it won't come back up till july I don't know what i'm gonna play lol.

lol. im the same as you. all the time i used to spend playing ffxiv is now free. having withdrawal symptoms as we speak.

kinda feel like there is nothing to do too, mmo's and there progression make you feel like your doing something a little more then offline games but either way Tonight is midnight release of black ops 2 ...so i'll have months of shooting noobs to do. woot woot.

I don't want to play other games mainly cause I played other games while I played xiv so besides ACIII I don't really have anything new to play and i'm so behind on rift now since i left when ID was released it would take 2 months just to catch back up..

I'm playing Guild Wars 2 but I really don't think it's all that. Its very pretty but it gets a bit dull. So as far as MMO's go there really isn't a replacement for FF XIV.

Outside of XI and XIV..all MMOs are pretty much the same thing which makes them get boring quick.
