Let's assume you're right and it's a stupid argument. The fact that you're pointing out that people on a forum are having a stupid argument as if it's new or novel to have stupid arguments on forums is bewildering. Where have you been all this time?

Also the topic of missing sexes was (for whatever reason) very popular. It's only natural that people are expressing their interest and curiosity in the portrayal of Merlwyb. While I don't care in the slightest about races and their sexes (missing or otherwise) that's kind of neat, I hadn't really bothered to notice she really does look Roegadyn. Ty to the OP for pointing it out.

In the header image banner for the Grand Companies page, Merlwyb is in the image riding a chocobo. She's very large, almost as tall as the chocobo she's riding, and she even wears a flowing skirt. Very much like how a Sea Wolf admiral should look.

On top of that, the art for the Grand Companies has a very decidedly Final Fantasy Tactics feel to it, doesn't it?

The art for the Flame General reminded me of FFXII, which isn't that far off considering both games are based on the same world.

We can always hope that there will be some elements of Ivalice being brought to XIV. I think that is probably what Naoki has been thinking for some time since he was brought in as director and producer.
