Has anyone started to pray to the gods yet?

We've started an LS on Balmung and also have a thread here on the Lodestone.

So far all I've heard is that people have traveled as individuals to the altars. No serious group efforts have been made. We're going to try something tomorrow 11/03/2012. Full Party to pray at each stone in the same order as "Living on a Prayer".

I've also started an LS "Prayers for Eorzea" here on Masamune, but of course, almost everyone is fighting mobs for hours.... then again the people whom I play with are all not around sigh....
..if anyone of you on Masamune are keen to give this a shot, send me a tell ingame.

I faintly remember YoshiP addressing us about "the end of the world" and how we needed the efforts of EVERY SINGLE ADVENTURER in this game to brave through it! I can't find that post... I don't think it was in a Letter from the Producer or I could be very much mistaken.

I hope a full party of 8 praying at 12 shrines simultaneously can happen.

Update this (and other similar) thread....keep it alive and on top! The key to surviving this onslaught has to be the power of prayer!

Everytime a pilgram finishes his journey a golem dies... possibly a kitten too

On Masamune we had like 5 Vanguards die randomly....and then Deepvoid mobs spawned in their place.

So.....>_> Don't know about that.

To be fair, this game isn't nearly as mean as the Souls series.

I don't know, I mean they developers made people fight and kill neutral goblins and quirqins.

Kind of reminds me of Saint Astrae and Queelag from Demon/Dark souls. Both of them were important to others because they were helping people by taking in dangerous materials into their bodies.

We kill snurbles for the best items with no choice if we want the best gear at the moment.

Atomos is the Old One, needs constant Aetheryte (souls) to create the deepvoid (undead).
