5 years yeah..but considering some of the stuff from 1.0 is being carried over, such as models, motion capture movements, music, lore. certain textures, voice work etc
Modeling and rigging characters, texturing clothes etc, and applying motion capture movements to them is over 6 months of work alone. Adding new motions to already rigged characters for 2.0 is not as lengthy since its just the data being applied to model skeletons.
I highly doubt this rumor to be accurate. Too fishy lol I think I'll just wait until Yoshi-p gives us a more solid timeline. Either way I won't lose sleep.
