But all servers are mixed. The reason it's going to turn to regional is just by the fact a lot of people will want a server close to them. I am in the uk and will probably go with a us server for more English speaking people. Only way they can circumvent it is by not saying where the servers are but that kinda makes the point of having data centres in different places.

I could probably count on one hand the number of times I've partied with Japanese players in V1 who weren't in my LS (we had a couple). I'd much rather have a larger playerbase online during my play time than open up that possibility. But I suppose it's different in Europe. JP players are usually asleep during our prime time while NA players are at work. Of course you get the odd one who doesn't work and plays 24/7 but I'd rather not have to factor them into my plans.

All servers are mixed. Anyone can join any server at any time regardless of where they live or what language they speak. The servers are not region LOCKED, just regionally LOCATED.
