first off: thanks for not saying "I could care less"

second: it isn't really about being better than others (to me) it's just having a time sensitive goal set before us and beating it only for it to come back at a later time. I spent quite a few late nights with a semester full of chemistry and mathematics to get them so it would be pretty annoying if they did, but personally I wouldn't rage or anything
