Oh Hildibrand with a solid voiced British accent. Pure win to me.

"Pinky-out dear Nashu! I say..."
Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means
Reading something the way I want to read it?ah yes, so lamenting over the possibility of *more* boring, dumb, unfunny, pointless cutscenes means that i *want* to skip cutscenes, rather than pretty clearly implying they should use their resources for *less* boring, dumb, unfunny and pointless cutscenes so there won't be as much of an impetus to skip them (ie: main scenario, grand company storyline, rivenroad end cinematic)
classic case of reading something the way you want to read it to preserve internal bias. cool story, bro
The addition of more Hildibrand cutscenes would result in you wanting to skip them.
I can't wait your witty retort!

Your post came off like you thought more cut-scenes are pointless, thus it can be concluded you don't enjoy cut-scenes. If you meant something different, perhaps it is better to craft your words appropriately. I was merely poking fun at your statement because Final Fantasy has been full of story/side-story cut-scenes for years now.
However, I see why you can think my knickers are twisted. My response was direct.

That would be sweet. The Hildibrand quests are some of the most enjoyable, yet simplistic quests in the game. I would like them to return, albeit with a little more involvement from the player.
Request: Delete this post but delete Hildibrand first! For those of us who have completed his last quest we know what happens to The Great Inspector Hildebrand.
I know many of you agree that he is one of the best characters in the game.
Dev team! This is for you! From us!
We want MOAR Hildibrand! I hope it's already planned to bring him back but if not...
Yall need to get on that.
Thank You.
Without getting too much into spoilers, I couldn't help but notice something found in the pumpkin patch looks remarkably similar to something that fell a long distance from from a particular high-up place. I didn't end up putting it together (or at least think I put something together) until after my airship-delivered quest since I went to the pumpkin patch first. Considering the dear Inspector's current location all kinds of theories are swirling around my lala-head.
First thing i'm going to ask him when I see him next will be
Where's my gun-halberd!?
