I'm sorry but... who are you? These are some pretty wild-eyed assertions...
Translation: I vehemently and irrevocably disagree.
If you can put in the effort, there is plenty of content, even at 50 every job. I've never run out of stuff to do, even now, thoroughly entertained all the way.

They should just do a little of everything and ignore the whiners who are spoiled and want the whole update to be just for them.
This statement kills me every time i see someone post this nonsense, then you say you want to stand in one spot and kill mobs for hours on end for no reason in another post.... I don't wanna do a quest with kill x mob but ill go kill those same mobs while standing in the same spot for hrs!!!
We already know SE's first things to concentrate on will be ACN and SMN, then they need to for fill their DX11 promise. They're going to have loads of balancing work and tweaks.
If they planned everything right they should have the crystal tower for endgame and be unlocking new levels constantly for the endgame.
It's true. Only reason I'm twiddling my thumbs right now is because I don't want to start anything long-term with so little time left, and I want to save a lot of the short-term stuff (like leveling my remaining classes) for 2.0. There is plenty I've left unfinished, and I have far more free time than most players. I'm sure the only people who can't say this sort of thing are the ones who have all 7 relics, have done every dungeon, have every skirmish/primal weapon, and have all crafts leveled. I wonder what percent of the playerbase falls in that category.I'm sorry but... who are you? These are some pretty wild-eyed assertions...

Crystal Tower.
From what I've heard it's supposed to be a continually growing tower of endgame content. as well as new primals, roaming NM, and so on. they have said in that one live talk session they have (I think) 500 new quests and are still working on more. They realize they have to beef up the whole game in general.
I can understand why the current version was slow to release new content, why waste all their resources creating stuff for a version they know they are not using in the future? I'm happy with what they have added even though it wasn't tons of content. Once they have ARR completed and people playing it, then they can focus all those resources spend rebuilding the game and redirect their talent to generating content (after a much deserved vacation to somewhere tropical!)
Like the tower in Azure Dreams ?

Yes cause there is a difference between parting and questing, atleast to me it is FAR more fun to party with people even standing in a spot for hours, than doing a boring quest with crap rewards for in most games, Killing maybe slightly weaker mobs while camping is usually faster XP than killing quest mobs that give a set amount of xp. Now if you played 11 which i will assume you did name a quest item that was actually useful, over Mission item, Dropped NM items or Crafted items. Thought i will trow out there that i did LOVE the Dream boots and treat staff 2. And once again standing there in natalan was ALOT funner than doing that FUCKING escort mission in Girdania. This statement kills me every time i see someone post this nonsense, then you say you want to stand in one spot and kill mobs for hours on end for no reason in another post....
