Like seriously, stop trying to be the unique snowflake and just go with what's regarded as the best (or if not actually provide math (preferably that doesn't prove you wrong) ).

I swear to god the justifications that you people make to avoid the conclusion that you're using the wrong gear is astounding.

"But X gear is better in this really contrived specific condition that has never happened to anyone ever!"

Generally, there's a reason most people use certain pieces of gear, and I understand that it's not always simple to get the optimal pieces. I'd take along another player who was willing to learn who actually had worse gear, just because I know he wouldn't be so bullheaded. There's a time and place for showing how unique you are, and endgame content is not it.

No doubt you'll come back with another artificial scenario where you're proven to be correct.
