    They need someone who snaps better screenshots or organize the character a bit better.
    I think that what is happening in that picture is that they got everyone gathered very, very damn tightly to get as many people as possible filling as much as possible of the screen, so that they could test the game's ability to render a bajillion people and hopefully not slow down.

    Essentially a character rendering limit test.

    As you can see, the new engine can handle a lot of characters at once, and I even had the settings set to high. (In case you’re wondering, everyone is sporting exclusive alpha gear for the dungeon.)

    Calling it now...someone will find a HUGE problem with this. I'm guessing it'll be bobbygunz, as he's the one who generally has problems with graphics.

    Oh so they fixed the 40 character limit. Its a good improvement im looking forward too. Its a big weakness of current ffxiv. Especially in uldah and atomos with them invisible monster 3 shotting you.

    I dislike that screenshot cos the dragoon armor and colours gave me a headache after looking at it a while.

    waaa ya'll talking crazy, graphics look amazing.

    Also have to remember screenshots can make things look crap. Especially cropped jpeg ones, but more importantly because its "still". Still images make AA stand out, but ingame when everything is moving it blends a bit better and things seem shiner because its animating.

    Also if you want it even higher gfx just make a profile in your driver options.

    Sadly, you can still determine things from still images. If there's clipping issues in a screenshot you can bet your crossdressed ass there's even more so in motion lol.

    Also, iirc he stated that was on high settings too, so either physics isn't completely incorporated or they really can't fix certain graphical issues.
