    Stated in the letter it's to show the engine can handle more. Needing "big enemies" in basic leveling is more of a western approach to MMOs lol. You usually start "small" then work your way up to tougher enemies in most eastern MMO design.

    Well i think its great way to show of graphics and hook new players . To have these epic, huge, good graphics mobs they can fight during their leveling instead of rats and stuff. Since i remember during 1.0 the whole "we fight nothing but rats" was a big complaint.

    If they had iconic big FF mobs during leveling up it would be epic.

    There is... because people like to abuse cliffs/monster AI. The only reason it's so annoying in 1.x is because the height restriction is ridiculously small.

    This. If it was basic range like in XI it'd be abused to hell if there's no universal hitboxes...which will pissed people off they get hit and complain that people shouldn't get hit above or below an enemy..

    Don't think so. As Yoshi-P stated this was an internal test so they were probably using characters generated specifically for it. More likely it was just a poor transfer to the letter.

    As to the content, the screen shots are showing me things that look very promising. Outdoor raids, large scale raids, new bosses ect. As I said looks very promising.

    I remember when 1.0 first came out we actually could shoot from tops of hills and stuff. ARC was so OP way back in the day lol. Not sure if anyone else will remember haha

    I am glad they are changing this though...we certainly should be able to shoot/cast from hill tops or from below, etc.

    Yeah lol back in stamina days. Hopefully they keep an eye on that this time around.
