Fail. For the 100th time dude. That would make ToD even harder to track. If you are so against a freakin' time sink then why would you want to wait 5 hours just to get a ToD then gather for ONE kill? If it was 21-24 it would be in your time for a week or so and everyone would know when it was.
"What time does Fafnir pop?"
"9pm est"
"But that was the pop time before the maintenance, what is it now?"
"9pm est."
"But I can't trackkkkk it now."
"It's always 9pm EST."
You don't even understand the discussion. You just run to the aery when your alarm goes off like a good harcore should.
What player tracks HNMS when they are designed to pop at 9pm in Europe, 9pm in North America, and 9pm in JP?
Just you dude. Just you.

no, we are asking for different degrees of rare items, and instead of 24h pop nms , relic type of rarity.
To be completely honest i would not cared if they put 24h nms , because i would not do them anyways, i cant commit that much time like i used to.But i understand why people do not want them.
This makes it a shit NM like what we have now... 3 times a day at the same time. Just because its 9pm JP doesn't mean NAs wont be all over it lol.Fail.

You completely missed the point of making gear rare. Completely.
It's not hard to design them to be relatively quick regional events. The problem you and Visch are having is that you can't imagine a HNM that isn't like you already know it to be.
If Fafnir spawned to the North Americans at 9PM EST, Europeans at 9PM GMT, and Japanese players at 9AM GMT every day, with shortened windows, you wouldn't need 3 hours to participate and an ultra flexible schedule.
Well then you represent an irrelevant minority of players who has no chance at being heard. Again, you just want to look pretty and force the crowd to look different from you, because it's the only way anyone would ever respect you and Visch.
And then the same LSs camps it three times a day and then what? It's not hard to design them to be relatively quick regional events. The problem you and Visch are having is that you can't imagine a HNM that isn't like you already know it to be.

How can you speak like this when you come from Dips?
I just...I just cannot understand it. I could flame you so hard, but I wont. Back to topic... Having a NM spawn three times a day doesn't make gear rare. Seriously.
<true strike > XDDDDDDD
personally i liked poped nms, with super-mega-hard to find/low drop pop items.
it is in the end much more fun and equally time consuming.
HNM 24h --> log on
/l did hnm died ? what time it poped ?
/l o damn its dead, o well ill log off wut is tod ? okay i got work at that time tomorrow, o well see ya later all!.
HNM poped.
/l log on Anyone wants to farm X item? okay meet at X place.
repeat for few days/weeks until get drop
/l pop fight , good luck on drop.
I would take second scenario personally on a heart beat.
Blhe ,in the end all depends how "hard " is to kill the mobs and how many people can kill them/complete the requirements. In few words, it depends on how good the developers are.making rare becouse it "pops" less often is a lazy way to develope "rare" and im not a fan of that.Lazy devs are lazy .
