It's a shame you have thrust your self in tot he world walking aimlessly to find people. Finding people thru content finder or meeting them during a quest you may be doing in the OPEN WORLD or finding them thru a search list is all the same. So sick of people acting every friend they ever made in a mmo was them walking thru a area randomly, if you meet that many people that way, at some point you was looking for someone to friend not randomly finding them.

Everyone I befriended on an MMO was mostly just randomly meeting them in an odd place and helping each other out, later we party and make more friends and so on and so forth.

It's stupid that I again have to wait for a thing to pop up and say HEY YOU GOT A PARTY HEAD TO THE DUNGEON NOW~ Lets not forget, some classes will have to wait for hours to get a party, because LOL who wants something that doesn't work well in the dungeon?
Meet people that I will never again play with, or let alone gives them an excuse to be a dick.

Also, it's not exploration when someone is holding my hand saying, "hey, over here! Ok, now go this way, ok ok, now, this is tough, you have to get through these monsters that aggro, WATCH OUT! Phew that was close!" That's not exploration that's me being the games dummy. OoOOOoOOO uncover a map! Why can't I just go buy a map that someone made already? I get why they did this soo it's a false beliefe that you are going off the beaten path, but it's just another; "hey complete this area 100% move to the next! Oh, and don't come back!"

Seriously? You call that fun? I might as well watch the game play itself.

No but I did often make friends with people after I have played with them not just once, but multiple times. If I see a person sharing the same interests as I do, farming, world exploration, party play.

Then yeah they often end up finding their way into my Linkshell or Friends list. Content finder wont do that for you because your not playing with your server, you wont see a large group of people you meet outside those instanced dungeons, you don't see those people in the rest of the world.

It's hard to befriend someone when your too busy focusing lazer right on instanced raids, hell you don't usually got much of a chance to even talk if your doing things properly. So yeah I find seeing people on my server in the open world far better than finding them through a list.

Maybe you don't that's your perogative but don't tell me how I should fell about how the game evolves. Your entitled to your opinion as much as I am to mine, I don't "Look" for friends in a MMO I just naturally gravitate towards people who share my interests within the game and want to do more than just knock out instanced raids and quests.
