    As others have said, if the fight is so easy that it's boring, man up and nuke! There is no reason WHM should be boring. You can have all the duties BLM has (Nuke, sleep, die to an OP AoE attack), on top of your own healing duties.

    This thread is barely more than 2 pages and you just repeated what another post already said, and apparently skipped over everything in the OP (which includes me talking about nuking) excluding one part and my responce to said copied post. My complaint is I am doing almost as much dmg as the blm's because I cure so little and have nearly nothing else to do that "should" be whm related.

    I could not agree more with the OP. A good party will leave the WHM with almost no WHM duties to do, and frankly if I wanted to nuke the whole fight, I'll just go on BLM. I'm fine with WHM having nukes, but the fact that otherwise we have like 4 spells we use (Cure, Regen, Stoneskin, Protect) regularly, and like 2 others only sometimes (Cura, Esuna) just makes it boring. I also have no idea why there are so many awful WHMs in this game (ITS FOUR SPELLS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!)

    I'm hoping the job adjustments include a few more useful spells for WHM. I just find it ridiculous that mages are limited to the same number of "abilities" as melee. The result is that the mage jobs are less exciting and fast paced, unfortunately.

    Well it currently exists as a level 38 Conjurer spell and a level 38 Thaumaturge spell (Soul Ward) but masked out, so I think it's more along the lines of them making wipes = game over basically so don't think we really need a level cap increase and more along the lines of them just unmasking it lol. They could always change the level requirement, but honestly this is sorta why I liked the list view/macro setup in XI since they got rid of most spells/abilities because people complained about "too much stuff i don't use for limited bar space."

    Dont think the bar is a problem now that we have an expandable ui in 2.0. I hope they add new spells and mix it up in 2.0, certainly how much they have said it will feel different you'd expect at least some changes to what has already past for us.

    As a main whm theres a few points in the thread i'd like to cover. First off, yes whm can be somewhat boring depending on the content. For instance, coincounter (for the lazy whm) can have you standing around most of the fight. I try to keep my magic eva down and bleed up on him as much as possible (its not great but hey it helps). Also i like to sleep slugs that are close enough to the mages to silence/amnesia us. Gives the blm more time to nuke.

    As far as abilities/spells go, i do have some suggestions. Like elexia said, can we get reraise? Im sure we will at some point but it would be a welcome addition. Esuna to me is very frustrating. I think it needs to be changed by either letting us choose which debuff to remove (in cases like miser for example) or reduce the recast timer. Mp cost is a little high in my opinion as well. Even a job trait like expanding esuna to take off all debuffs would be great.

    All that aside, whm is as fun as you make it. In my opinion, its the second most important job in pt. I do agree though with what someone said (for how easy it is why do so many people suck at it XD). With all the spells and mp regeneration abilities of whm, you should never be standing around with nothing to do. Refresh your buffs, even if the timer is still high (you never know when shit can go awry). Throw out a nuke here and there. It wont kill you.
