Uni that was only done during the movie not during the actual book so it isn't cannon he actually ran out of arrows during helm's deep defense and had to switch to his daggers at one point. Point in case... well with the bottom they were too close to shoot with arrows.

So? It still was done in the movie, and the movie is certainly a work of fantasy, so your point does not in any way defeat my original statement.
