I understand your advice, kitty, however the “Level up other Classes” has never been something I considered, for the simple reason I don't like them. And it's part of my philosophy to never do something I don't like doing in Eorzea.
If one day I'll level them up it'll be only to watch the beautiful storyline quests.
Yes, I got a lot of refusals in random parties as a Monk and I will keep on getting them, but I shall always have a smile at it.(Also the best part when I get the refusal is when I track down the leader and stalk him/her with my Subligar)
But as we can see Monks are capable to clear every content without any difficulties, including Speed Runs in 20 minutes, as long as the party knows what to do. It's simply an unfortunate common place that many adventurers still believe they can't.
I, for one, had yet to see a video of a Full Speed Run with a Monk in Cutter's Cry from the beginning to the end, but of course I knew it was possible (hardcores most likely did this many moons ago).
Besides, I'm no hardcore at all, so I wanted to document my experience: if a casual adventurer can do it, everybody can, as long as the party is open-minded enough.![]()
