lol you've dealt with it this long, I think you'll be fine for another 30 days.People have something to worry about in the current version. We cant make gear sets right now, and cant do anything about what isnt already equipped because we cant make gearsets yet. So what if Yoshida's character had 3 unlocked, that doesnt help anyone now. He probably unlocked them prior to the video so he can demonstrate them, and everyone starts with one. Or they unlock every 5 levels. Doesn't matter either way, because we dont have gear sets right now. Everyone who does a lot of different classes and jobs will end up with a lot of stuff, probably their unequipped gear, placed on the temp NPC.
I also play all classes but 3 battle classes, and cullinarian ingrediants take the most inventory space of them all. I am hoping SE handles this correctly.
I also wish they didnt lower inv space at all, or at least not right away so we can all get our gear into gearsets, then they lower the inv space like a month or two after while utilizing the temp NPC for overflow. We wont have to worry about our gear being on temp NPCs at launch that way.
The first thing I'll do in 2.0 will be to unlock as many gear sets as the game allows. If you are so concerned about it, I suggest you do the same.

You still dont seem to get it. You cant put gear that gets put onto the temp NPC into a gear set. You wont have it. first thing you would have to do is discard or vendor other things to retrieve it...... It's probably pretty pointless trying to get it through to you, considering.


What are you talking about? I'll unlock a gearset, make that gearset (and thus inventory space), get items from the storage npc, repeat. Why is that not clear to you?
If the dev team is smart about it, what goes to the storage NPC will be prioritized in such a way that mats go first, then consumable items, and lastly gear that surpasses the 100 slot mark. Just like every other thread fearing 2.0 changes, you guys are making mountains out of mole hills.

It's funny that you seem to think I haven't thought this system through, when clearly it's the opposite. It's you who have not considered the system's implications and what will be needed to adjust to it. It's better than the current system hands down, but will take time/work to adjust to it.
