Which is why as I said it's pretty much an unnecessary step, they knew no one would really bother with Hamlet Defense unless they were forced into it..and really, before we knew it would be used for "AF Weapons (later Relics)" no one really bothered with it after the first week except for the Japanese on a lot of servers lol.

There is enough nice stuff to get in Hamlet to make it a worthwhile activity for a while, but if it wasn't for relic, it would died out quicker than it already did.

unnecessary if relic quest is supposed to be easy stuff for everyone to complete in a few days, which it isn't. so can you share with us your brilliant ideas on how to make relic more difficult to obtain without using hamlet as an "unnecessary step"?

...oh right, i forgot. you're one of the proponents of making relic easier to acquire across the board. but surely this doesn't translate into bias regarding your position on the hamlet step, right? right?

And once again any point you tried to make is thrown out by being retarded. I don't recall ever saying "make relics easier", especially since the dev team already said it won't be made easier.

It really is an unnecessary step, it would be fine if the event was designed better, but we had to take what we could get with this version. Since it's your opinion that other people want to make relics easier, why don't you share how to make it easier, since you know, it's been your stance that people want something easier if they don't agree with something. However, I bet you've never played FFXI or you would know it's very common practice for SE to force people to do events that normally wouldn't touch it, or did you just decide to block out the fact most people didn't bother with Hamlet Defense early on?

A lot of people dislike Hamlet Defense for obvious reasons, but knowing your logic you'd probably say:

"Only people who hate it are bad at it"

    Right? Right?

Seriously, HD isn't even a barrier of entry..it's just..unnecessary lol. Making Relics easier would be saying:

    "Get rid of Ifrit Extreme."
    "Get rid of Garuda requirement."
    "Get rid of Speed Runs"
"Get rid of Stronghold NM fights"
"Get rid of SBing the weapon."

Do you see the difference between something unnecessary and wanting something actually challenging removed for the sake of making relics easier? You act like Hamlet Defense is on the same level as every other requirement in the relic quest lol, not even the reasoning for wanting the 25k item and seals matter beyond "Hey player, Imma make you do something you never wanted to do!"
