When the pty dies the blame is allways on the whm... sadly.
I love the official forums, they tell you to use the search for thread about what you wanted to talk but when you use it they judge for necro a thread.

You are playing with the wrong people. I've had wipes in Moogle and it's not usually a whm problem. Seems to me if you have trouble in first half it's a slow DPS problem, 2nd part it's usually people not moving out of the damn way of AOE.
To the OP, I always follow whatever kill order the leader tells me and if we have a problem I try to suggest an alternative order. There are several orders that work just fine.
Also, it's almost never just 1 persons fault a run goes bad so don't let 'em get you down. If they are a 'circle of buddies' its certainly easier for them to blame the outsider. Don't give it another moment of thought.

Try this: Before the GLA Mog dies in phase 1, all BLMs and WHMs pop hate reduction (Chameleon/Shroud) then progress through the first phase normally. Doing this never gave us a problem with that mog

WHM always gets the blame for party failure. I'm jealous you could even get a moogle party. I have one more moogle weapon to get by drop (got enough nuts to buy the other) but I cannot get anyone to do moogle ><
We always do BLM first then the GLA.

Agreed, if they didn't give you the basic info you need (like the order they were doing) then thier leader is at fault. People shouldn't just assume you know, because some ppl use different strategies. We really don't need that brand of militant elitism in this community.Your job as WHM is the easiest of them all unless they so some stupid shit. You're either watching the party or the tank/kiter unless you were the solo WHM.
Everyone has a different order, especially the Japanese, but it's the party leader's responsibility to go over their strategy in detail.

There are several perfectly workable ways of doing phase 2 of the Moogle fight. We've done it going for the GLA first, although doing the BLM first is more common.
The truth is people prefer to point fingers and say other people are bad players, rather than accept that they may have been at least partially to blame. If you're the outsider it only gets worse.
Best to chalk it up to experience and remember those people who you are better off not playing with again in the future.

What's a moogle?

I've done it several times with several different orders.
Personally, I think it's possible in any order so long as everyone is aware of the order you're going to follow for that particular run. There are some orders that are more interesting to follow, though, I agree. It does help if Ruffletuft goes last, as his spinning attack is devastating in the hands of the King. Whiskerwall, however, only boosts the king's defense, so killing him first doesn't really change much, it just keeps the tank under heavy fire from all the other moogles whiile you're busy killing it. nothing a good pair of WHM cant' fix. At any rate, whichever you chose to deal with first will always:
- Give the king his ability earlier
- Keep you under fire from other moogle's abilities longer.
Essentially, either you or your party suck and want to blame it on the other. I can't take any sides as it seems to me as you're both stuck with the idea that this battle can only work one way. You're both wrong.
