They didn't really change much if you look at the latest news, it's 0 Bazaar for players however retainers are bumped toa 20 bazaar. It's quite logical why they did this. They did it to prevent players from just idling for no reason trying to sell stuff, so rather then players spending their time online to sell junk they can now stick 20 items on a retainer and be done with it.
It prevents shout heavy areas from becoming cluttered with PC's that are attempting selling items.
I'm happy it would have had it uses if it took ages to travel, and couldn't be used near cities.
While a nice little feature, its not worth the resources imo to keep it working.
I have no negative feelings about it being removed.
Especially as its just been moved onto the retainers.
I'm going to miss Bazaars, I would associate them with an FF MMO for sure, I really wish they would have tried to find a solution.
In FFXIV almost nobody used them to sell stuff anyway since they implemented the search for the wards. It was only used for some extra storage so removing them from player and giving the extra space to retainer is an accepatble and understandable solution.
Does anyone of the ppl complaining about loosing the bazaar sold stuff via bazaar in the last 6-12 months (and i dont mean 1 or 2 items) on a regular basis?
Thank god this is gone, such a poor design in XIV. Really annoying how close you need to be!
I wounder how repair works in ARR. Do we get a repair menu or do we need than have the gear on our body to let other players repair it?
