Final Fantasy XIV 2.0 ARR Alpha Version

Hi there.
As it is for myself, i'm sure alot of people are questioning themselves, "Wasnt alpha version announced for Ends of September/Starts of October?"
Tell us the day you think it will start! (Guess if ur not sure like me lol or if u know anything else that we dont, feel free to share! )

My vote goes to October 5th! Not sure why but it just seems apropriately the mid of the start of october, since 10-20 is Mids October and 20-31 is ends of October.

And for the JP only at the first Alpha wave, an Alpha "wave" is just a weekend normally right? Stress test, try to get in-game, create a char, etc. Since they said there will be multiple waves till Beta and Beta starts in around mid-end of november there isnt much time to be otherwise right?

Note: I havent read yet the last live producer letter translation bc no time for it atm, so kinda assuming old news we had pre-Live Producer Letter III.

I know exactly where images and videos will be posted, so NDAs don't matter too much especially considering it'd be no secret that an Alpha for ARR has started.

Hell any leaked info would be beneficial to SE at this point lol.

I just wanna know when it starts so i can guess mostly when English will start too :3 As for November 11 it sounds too late to start Alpha O.o they said 1 month after 1.23b closes, it will take 1 month to filter character items and what not and move it to Beta test. And we'll play with our characters. Am i right?

Yep, the Alpha/Beta dates have been so flipflop lately its hard to really say..Beta was supposed to start when worlds go offline, then we hear that's when the JP Alpha starts (Nov 11th)..so who knows when at this point honestly.

So unless once again things have changed, this has realistically been the most solid info we got regarding the Alpha test lol.
