I was about to be glad they are getting rid of fishing lures/bait, but they are just going to add new ones![]()

So far all I'm getting is that ARR is cutting a lot of corners compared to what we have now. And I wonder how much of it is related to *gasp* PS3 limitations.
I don't like the great animations we have no going away.
I don't like the belt graphics going away.
I'm still wondering about the new combat system, and all the changes on the DoL and DoH.
I get the feel that they are... casualizing the game, and from the footage they have shown us, it looks more like a random korean grinder than our beloved FFXIV. I hope they are holding back stuff to show and mechanics to reveal, because for me, from what we know now, the current version after all the fixes looks better than what ARR is looking to be.
I still have faith in Yoshi, though.

Unless the selling price of the item on wards is reduced to 1/10th of the last 1.0 value, I wouldn't even buy it. Let it rot on the wards until the fool figures it out.5&7 kinda conflict losing 1/10th gil you worked for. but you can still get 999,999,999 max
items at 100k will stay at 100k is what SE dont understand we can still sell for 99,999,999. now people will be greedier to get back the money there losing. hope this aint the start of FFXI money issues in FFXIV.

i think the gearsets will have ID's to the gear you saved on it. that way it wont random what piece to use if you have more then one.Is there anywhere that states what a gear set would be tied to? Like is the gear set tied to a weapon change? I know that the drop down on the UI is there but unable to read Japanese. But if it is not tied to a weapon change, then should we start looking at the gear sets from an stat set instead of a job set? Example...
MNK and WAR both use STR as 1 of their 2 stats.
You could set up a gear set for STR by mapping what items you have that gives you such.
Then create another gear set that would fill in the remaining slots with int/vit gear.
This 5 minute thought process probably has holes in it but it could be used so that str gloves, pants, rings x2 are removed from inventory and able to be applied to multiple jobs.

If you have different felt bracers for specific class each you can put them in gear setsthere's only a few issues i have with the list actually.
1. them removing the color from the item. like i use multiple felt bracers for different classes. i have a blue and regular just because it makes changing to the correct item when using a macro work more smoothly. this does allow me to dictate exactly which set of gloves i want to use. if i'm on my mnk i use my blue set because it's multi melded str and on my drg i use my multi melded attack power. this allows me to be sure my macro equips the correct item when changing gear.
gears in a gear set are out of inventory, too2. the only items that doesn't take inventory are the items equipped. i carry over 150 pieces of gear on me most times. granted that's every class and its full set of gear, but with a total of 100 inventory i thought they were giving ways to help gear reduce your inventory space.

But I have 4 Felt Bracers (Blue) +1!!!!
guess it will just have to be manually done.

wait hold on there is something i didnt unerstand
does that mean if i had "on the properties of beastmen" it will be gone in arr and i have to retrieve it
<< had his PC down during atomos zergs
