The water levels may be high in this thread, but the autism levels are off the charts with this post.

Yeah i noticed a severe lack of updates of late. Especially since they talked it up to be a "flood" of information.
The fact we have more contests posts than information leading up to release of a game that desperately needs to appeal new crowd or win the old ones back, is kind of odd marketing.
Even high res jpegs of the concept art we recently saw in the last live letter would be appreciated. They've already shown us once, don't see the harm , unless they have spoiler text (which can be easily edited out)...
The problem seems to be a mix between them being too busy/short-sighted to update us.
Seriously SE, you're makin it hard for prospect players to keep an eye on ARR.

Here, take this as a sign of peace. No, really, it's for you.

This isn't really information people are talking about, it's just detailing things we already knew about and a snippet of other information that isn't really..useful without knowing the full picture. Here, take this as a sign of peace. No, really, it's for you.

For example:
What are these "extensive changes"? What are the "other major game systems"? That's the information people are talking about.Due to extensive changes made to the battle and other major game systems

Smash Bros. Brawl did it for years, and it was a great hype builder. Even just showing a new item, or a breakdown of each race/clan with lore, and some customization options would be cool, imo. We've likely only got a few months before relaunch, I'm sure there are some things that they can give us a peek at without showing their entire hand.
They need to build hype for both the existing users as well as new users, so even old information to us might be new/interesting to someone who hasn't looked at the game since 2010.

You act like you deserve and are entitled to this information. Why do people do this?
Ignore Jacien, he's a tryhard forum troll....what...?
Ironically, there's a reason people act "entitled" to information, or are you one of the many people who let SE slide on the fact we were suppose to have been given a "flood of information (their words)" and "weekly updates on 2.0/ARR (Their words)"? It's not that people are acting like they "deserve" information, it's the fact SE hasn't truly kept their word and people aren't that happy about it.
They gave us some info, sure...but we're still left with more questions than answers as they say.

I have to agree that there probably should be more information being released, especially with how much they have been saying that information is going to start coming. I can't really complain because I just want a good game, so if they don't feel that they're ready to say some things, then so be it.
According to the live letter we'll be getting some PS3 info mid October, then a bunch of more information (pvp info for example) in the November live letter.
So, we have that at least. I'm willing to wait.

They gave plenty of info already, in my opinion. The official forums' permanent residents are just impossible to please.Ironically, there's a reason people act "entitled" to information, or are you one of the many people who let SE slide on the fact we were suppose to have been given a "flood of information (their words)" and "weekly updates on 2.0/ARR (Their words)"?
