My Bard AF and Monk AF cosplay progress :)

that was strange to see this part of the post. the wife and i saw that last night for the first time and had never heard of it before.

Hi guys, i've never posted on here before so i've been a bit hesitant about linking this lol I've been getting ready for the MCM convention in London this October and thought i'd share with you guys what i've been up to in preparation for it

All of this is still work in progress and my bard AF needs some finishing touches to it still, and i've not long started the monk AF. I got to admit i'm a little bummed about how the monk is looking in the photo's (probably because i've put a male costume on a female mannequin... ) but it's looking really great when worn i'll post on here when i have some more updates for you all

It looks fantastic I love the Bard!!! Can't wait to see what the Monk looks like.

Great to see more FF14 cosplay! I desperately want to work on the Summoner AF from the concept art, but I haven't sewn in a good half-decade. My machine is just gathering dust. ; ;

congrats those costumes are looking sharp. And you have a great body LOL i wish I were that thin myself though I'm not too overweight but anyway bravo and neomarl and go suck himself if he's that much of an ass. Glad you're taking what he says with a grain of salt ^_^.

Wow! i'm actually a little overwhelmed by all the support i've received, seriously a massive thank you to everybody you're such a lovely community and i'm glad i decided to share this with you. Was a little touch-and-go in the beginning but i'm glad i stuck with you I feel very humbled by the reaction and i promise to work hard and get some more pics up for you soon
(I've been afk cause i've been sewing :P just nothing that's ready to be seen yet though lol)

I hope you will make another thread with some awesome photos once your cosplays are done :333

Will you also make the weapons? if so, which one? Relic? Garuda? something else? ^^
Haha I'm so sorry for being so curious but I enjoy seeing other cosplays. And FFXIV ones are really rare.

I have a girl lined up ready to take some photos for us it'll probably be the bard (myself) mainly as my partner is pretty camera shy bless him, but i'm sure i can convince him to take one or two for you

And i'm beginning to seriously doubt i'll get weapons ready in time for con but it doesn't mean i can't get them ready for the next one! I've had it in my head for ages that i'll be doing the ifrit bow, maybe get some fairy lights inside it so it glows :O lol but i'm really not sure about the monk weaps, i may ask momoe (my bf) what his favourite set are as i haven't levelled up my pug yet and see what ones he wants. (i have a feeling he'll want the relic ones and that's gong to be tricky lol) I might tell him i'm going to do the Avengers XD buuuut i'll have a think and let you know

And the standar for average looking in the states is considered fat in most countries. FYI.

But yeah, the guy was an asshole for saying something like that. The girl seemed really happy about her cosplay and she isn't obese. Its not like she's a professional cosplayer (like those they have in japan).

Haha steal some house bricks to make Avengers. Only problem is they are PUG only, they're too dumb looking for the cool MNK to wear

Make the moogle weapons, with real moogle plushies

you could make the Baghnakhs ones! They are pretty easy to make.
I've made 2 pairs myself in one day (one for my twinsister and one pair for me)





If u need help with them I could draw u some patterns or so
Just let me know ^^
