For the love of the 13 I hope that promotional codes will be retroactive in ARR. Promotional codes were a hallmark in FFXI and a lot of other MMO's and honestly, I just want to finally equip my onion helm that I got 2 years ago that I haven't been able to receive yet.

Yu can do, but you are much less likely to want to buy the code for a second character when you already have one levelled up.

They'll probably have a system in place for this once the delivery system is introduced. I'm sure it's quite annoying to have the GMs pass out the rewards from the contests they hold rather than having and mail system do it.

Onion helm was just an example there's also the Asuran Armguards and those goggles too.
